Ï㽶ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø's Annual Experiential Learning Expo features students and faculty or staff mentors discussing their participation in a variety of co-curricular and curricular experiential activities, including internships, service learning, student teaching, study away/abroad, course-based undergraduate research, clinicals, and practicums. Through experiential learning, students learn to critically evaluate problems, engage with stakeholders, and work within collaborative teams.   

Develop the mindset and competencies for a variety of careers.

Presenting to an audience helps build important competencies in experiential learning by strengthening communication, confidence, and critical thinking skills. It also serves as a public display of competency, allowing students to demonstrate the applicability of the skills and knowledge they have developed through their course-based learning and co-curricular experience to careers and real-world challenges.  

The Fall Expo embodies Ï㽶ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø’s commitment to stewardship of place by actively involving students and faculty in projects that address local and regional needs while creating broader impacts far beyond the local community. It provides a platform for students to publicly demonstrate their classroom competencies while showcasing the university’s dedication to collaboration, innovation, and community partnership.
