Thaxton Hall, viewed from North Patterson Street. Ï㽶ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍøors to the UGA Small Business Development Center should use this entrance for the most direct access to the SBDC office. A designated parking spot is located on the other side of the building.

SBDC Office Location: Thaxton Hall, First Floor, Room 100 

Parking Directions:

  • Enter North Campus by turning into the parking lot directly across from SGMC on Pendleton Drive. If you enter “212 Pendleton Drive” into your GPS, it should take you to the correct parking lot entrance. 
  • Once in the parking lot, continue past Pound Hall on your left.
  • The designated SBDC parking space is the last parking spot on the left, directly across from Thaxton Hall.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If this parking spot is occupied, please Click here for a visitor parking permit and email completed permit back to parking@valdosta.edu BEFORE parking in an undesignated campus parking spot; in your email, please include the date and reason for your campus visit.

Entering Thaxton Hall: Do not use the front entrance with the main steps as shown in the photo. Instead, visitors should use either of the following entrances:

  • Option 1: Courtyard Entrance
    • Walk toward the courtyard located between Pound Hall and Thaxton Hall.
    • Enter through the side door on your right.
    • Take the stairs down to the first floor.
    • Continue down the hallway, and our office will be on the right at the end of the hall.
  • Option 2: Rear Entrance
    • Walk around to the back side of Thaxton Hall.
    • Enter through the double doors.
    • Once inside, turn left.
    • Our office will be located on the right at the end of the hall.

You can also  for a more detailed map for navigating to our office on North Campus. Once you click the link and are redirected to the interactive map, click the red button on the top left of your screen to select "North Campus". Once the map shows North Campus, Thaxton Hall can be found towards the top right corner of the Health Sciences & Business Administration (HSBA) building. When facing the front of the HSBA building from North Patterson street, Thaxton Hall is behind and to the left of the building (beside Pound Hall), directly across from McKey Park. If facing Pound Hall on Pendleton Drive (across from SGMC), Thaxton Hall is the building directly behind it on the left.
