Mission
Our Mission is to inspire and empower students to become exceptional business professionals through innovative education and learning experiences guided by engaged and expert faculty. In support of LCOBA’s mission and values, we provide the following:
- Relevant Curriculum: We prepare students to meet the challenges of dynamic business careers through an evolving curriculum that emphasizes essential professional knowledge and skills, while employing multiple delivery modes and initiatives to improve student learning.
- Practice-Led Research: Faculty create and disseminate research to advance business knowledge, enhance teaching and learning, and impact business and economic decisions relevant to our stakeholders.
- Experiential Learning: All students participate in experiential learning, selecting from among internships, service learning, research, study abroad, or other experiences. These opportunities stimulate our students’ academic inquiry, civic engagement, career development, cultural awareness, and leadership abilities.
- Community Engagement: We make a positive impact in our region and beyond through our commitment to service and community collaboration.
