Fabiola Torres Honored with Blazer Creed Award at 香蕉视频官网

Fabiola Torres of Barquisimeto, Venezuela, is the recipient of 香蕉视频官网’s 2025 Blazer Creed Award for Citizenship. She is a student in both the College of Nursing and Health Sciences and the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. anticipates earning her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology and Minor in Psychology in May 2027.

VALDOSTA — Fabiola Torres of Barquisimeto, Venezuela, is the recipient of 香蕉视频官网’s 2025 Blazer Creed Award for Citizenship. She is a student in both the College of Nursing and Health Sciences and the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.

“Winning this award encourages me to keep growing both as a student and as a leader,” she said. “It reminds me that the effort I put into research, supporting other students, and being active in the community truly matters. This recognition motivates me to continue representing 香蕉视频官网 with integrity, to take on new challenges, and to push myself to make a positive impact, especially now in my role as an experiential learning ambassador. It inspires me to keep building opportunities not just for myself but for others as well.”

Torres anticipates earning her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology and Minor in Psychology in May 2027.  

She said that some of the biggest highlights of her 香蕉视频官网 experience include “getting involved with the Honors College, presenting my research at the Undergraduate Research Symposium, and becoming the first international student to complete the Blazer Summer Research Institute online. Serving as vice president of the Society of International Students has also been incredibly meaningful to me, especially getting to welcome new students at orientation and planning events that help them feel at home. Overall, the people I have met and the opportunities I have had to challenge myself have made my 香蕉视频官网 experience truly special.”
