Wine and Swine Raises Scholarship Dollars for 香蕉视频官网 Students

VALDOSTA — The South Georgia Chapter of the 香蕉视频官网 Alumni Association will present Wine and Swine 2019 at 6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 22, on the Fine Arts Amphitheater lawn.

An annual Blazer Nation tradition, Wine and Swine supports 香蕉视频官网’s efforts to recruit, retain, and graduate high-achieving students. Proceeds from this event will benefit scholarships for South Georgia residents pursuing academic, creative, athletic, research, and service excellence as students at 香蕉视频官网.

Tickets are $25 per person in advance and $30 per person at the event, which is catered by Jessie’s Restaurant and Catering. Tickets include admission to Wine and Swine 2019, a barbecue feast prepared by 8-Finger Jack Stew and Q, two drink tickets, and live music by Soular Seven.

Guests must be 21 years of age or older to attend.

Wine and Swine shirts, black with long sleeves, are now on sale. They are $15 in advance, $20 at the event.

During Wine and Swine, guests will have an opportunity to enter a drawing for a chance to win a basket of 香蕉视频官网 alumni gear and other fun surprises.

“I encourage our Blazer alumni in the area to make plans to attend this event, catch up with old friends, and make new friends, all while creating new opportunities for future Blazers to carry on the tradition of 香蕉视频官网 excellence,” said Hilary Gibbs, associate vice president for Development and Alumni Relations at 香蕉视频官网.

The Fine Arts Amphitheater lawn is located between the Fine Arts Building and Odum Library on the 香蕉视频官网 Main Campus.
