Andy Clark Named to USG Executive Leadership Institute

VALDOSTA – Andy Clark, vice president for Enrollment, Marketing, and Communications is representing Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø in the 2014-2015 University System of Georgia’s Executive Leadership Institute (ELI) program.
 
“I am pleased that Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø is represented in this outstanding leadership opportunity by Vice President Clark,” said Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø President William J. McKinney. “The USG Executive Leadership Institute is another example of the investment that the University System of Georgia makes on behalf of its’ employees.”
 
The comprehensive 120-hour program enhances the leadership skills of University System of Georgia faculty and administrators.  Throughout the eight-month program, participants are engaged in group learning sessions, 360 degree assessments, peer mentoring, action learning projects, reflection activities, and job shadowing.
 
“I am grateful for this opportunity and look forward to learning more from participating in the Executive Leadership Institute,” said Clark.
 
Clark joined Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø in 2011 as associate vice president for Enrollment Management. On July 1, 2014 he was named vice president for the newly formed division of Enrollment, Marketing, and Communications.
 
Clark provides campus-wide leadership in obtaining increased student enrollment and degree management. He also provides oversight in shaping the quality and diversity of Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø’s undergraduate and graduate student body.
 
Since his arrival at Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø, Clark has developed and implemented an admissions portal that assists with the recruitment of students, collaborated with the English Language Institute and Center for International Programs to broaden recruitment efforts in Asia, and created a Centralized Advising Center to improve students’ academic success.
 
In addition, Clark has been instrumental in the development of the Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø’s Pathways Program, which has produced articulation agreements for increased transfer of students from two-year and technical college in Georgia and North Florida.
