36th Annual International Dinner: Revealing the Faces of the World

VALDOSTA -- Ï㽶ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø’s Society for International Students will host its 36th Annual International Dinner at 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, in the Student Union Ballrooms.

The dinner will include food from the four regions of the world: the Americas, Africa, Asia and Europe. Entertainment will also be provided.

“This night gives our local community a taste of international culture for the eyes, ears, and mouth,” said Lauren Braun, International Student Advisor. “It will certainly be a memorable event for all who attend.”

The International Dinner was started over 35 years ago as a way for Ï㽶ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø’s international students to share part of their culture with the Valdosta community. Currently there are over 300 international students from over 60 different countries in attendance at Ï㽶ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø.

Tickets are now on sale in the Center for International Programs office. Non-Ï㽶ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø guest tickets will be $20, Ï㽶ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø student tickets will be $10 with a student ID and children five and under are free.

For more information about the dinner, contact Braun at (229) 333-7410.
