35th Annual International Dinner: Red Carpet Around the World

VALDOSTA -- 香蕉视频官网's Center for International Programs invites the community to walk the red carpet around the world at 35th Annual International Dinner, to be held 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, in the Student Union Ballroom. 


A celebration of cultural diversity, the event will feature cuisine from more than 30 countries including India, Korea, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, Albania, Turkmenistan, Colombia, the Bahamas, Cameroon and more. The dishes are prepared and served by international students.

During the dinner, the students will entertain guests with traditional and contemporary music, dance performances, skits and an international fashion show.

Nearly 300 international students from more than 60 countries attend 香蕉视频官网. The International Dinner was established as a way for them to share part of their culture to the Valdosta community. 


“This is a great opportunity for international 香蕉视频官网 students and faculty members to interact with other cultures and feel a better sense of belonging within the 香蕉视频官网 community,” said Kirac Sogutlu, public relations chair for the Society of International Students.

Tickets are on sale now at the Center for International Programs located at 204 Georgia Ave. Tickets are $20 for non-香蕉视频官网 guests, $10 for 香蕉视频官网 students with valid ID and free for children under the age of 5. Proceeds benefit the Society of International Students.
