Ï㽶ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø Announces Furlough Days
VALDOSTA -- Ï㽶ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø announces plans for six
furlough days as mandated by the Board of Regents. All employees
earning more than $23,600 will take six days without pay during the
2010 fiscal year.
Based on input from faculty and staff the six days include Oct. 19,
Nov. 25, Dec. 21, Jan. 4, March 19, and May 4.
According to Dr. Denise Bogart, director of Human Resources and
Employee Development, supervisors will make arrangements for
alternate days for those employees who conduct essential life and
safety duties on the days selected.
