Ceremony Marks Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø's Commitment Towards Improving Sustainability

VALDOSTA --President Patrick J. Schloss will join more than 600 college and university presidents across the country and sign the American College and University Presidents Climate Commitment.

The public is invited to attend the ceremony at 11 a.m., Friday, April 24 in West Hall rotunda. The pledge publicly acknowledges Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø's commitment towards improving sustainability and developing a comprehensive plan to achieve climate neutrality.

Schloss will be joined by representatives from the Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø Climate Council, Faculty Senate Environmental Issues Committee and members of Students Against Violating the Environment (SAVE).
