Continuing Education offers new Spring Courses

Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø’s department of Continuing Education offers a new Spring Course List to the Valdosta community.

The new courses include: Introduction to Fencing, Beginning Conversational Sign Language, Introduction to Six Sigma, as well as an International Cooking Series featuring Italian, Cajun, and Chinese cooking. Other classes include: “Documenting Effectiveness,” “Work Smarter Not Harder,” and “The Awakening of a Dream.” The School - College Outreach Program of Enrichment (SCOPE), a program designed to provide enrichment opportunities for children in grades 1st �" 6th, will also offer sessions in February and March.

“The staff members at Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø Continuing Education are excited about providing opportunities for community members to enhance their professional skills as well as to develop new interests through participation in life-long learning activities” Julie Halter, assistant director of Public Services - Continuing Education, said.
