The Georgia Power Foundation, Inc. provides $10,000 to Ï㽶ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø
Terri H. Lupo (left), vice president for Georgia Power Company's South Region, presented Kerry W. Morris, Valdosta State University's Director of Corporate/Foundation Relations, a check for $10,000 for the Ï㽶ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø Foundation, Inc., on Aug. 28, 2006. The gift from the Georgia Power Foundation, Inc. will help defray expenses related to Ï㽶ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø's Centennial Celebration. Georgia Power's South Region approximately mirrors Ï㽶ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø's 41-county service region from Lake Seminole on the West to Kings Bay on the East.
