Downs hired as Ï㽶ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø�s College of the Arts Director of Development
Beth Strickland Downs was recently named director of development
at Ï㽶ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø's College of the Arts.
As the director of development, Downs is responsible for private
gifts and private fundraising activities benefiting Ï㽶ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø's College
of the Arts and its related entities. This position is important to
the regional university's operational funding support, since a
large portion of funding is received from external sources.
Downs, a 2000 alumna of Ï㽶ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø, transferred from Marietta, where she
spent nearly five years as the public relations coordinator of the
Marietta Museum of History.
