Biography
Julene Smith is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a primary focus on integrating spiritual care into mental health practice. Her diverse clinical background includes experience in medical-surgical nursing and HIV care. At Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø, she leads the graduate-level Psychotherapy course (NURS 7250), where she brings a unique perspective rooted in both clinical expertise and psychological theory.Deeply inspired by the work of Carl Jung, Ms. Smith has developed a specialized assignment titled “Shadow Work” for her psychotherapy course, encouraging students to explore the dynamics of the unconscious and conscious mind. She is certified in Hypnosis and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)
